Ingredients:

1 1/8 cups water

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder -- (i used hershey)

2 teaspoons yeast

2 3/4 cups plus 1 tbsp. bread flour

3/4 cup sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

2 tablespoons vegetable oil -- (i used butter)

1 1/2 large eggs -- (i used one whole egg and one yolk)

Preparation / Directions:

Bring the water to a boil. Add cocoa and stir until completely dissolved (I just dissolved the cocoa in the water w/o heating). Let cool to room temp. Add the cocoa mixture and all other ingredients except nuts and process on specialty bread cycle (I used basic/sweet on my machine). At the beep, add nuts (I omitted these since the rest of my family won't eat nuts). If desired , while still warm, frost with chocolate glaze made of powdered sugar, cocoa, and milk ( I didn't do this but imagine it would be very good. I did have it warm with peanut butter though. Wonderful!!! After my brief panic when the bread 'dough' looked like cake batter I decided to just let it run it's course. It turned out wonderful! Everyone loved it. I converted it to a 1 1/2 pound loaf and made it in my Zo V-20. Here is the recipe that I used if anyone is i
